Protect this earth

The United Nations’ 2006 State of the Future:
“If beef or other animal meat can be manufactured from stem cells, land, water, grains and other resources can be saved. People may dislike the idea of producing meat or a part of an animal in laboratories or factories. The meat industry may object to the idea fearing that their best quality beef is copied and mass-produced. However, with limited land and water, and over-increasing demand for animal proteins, stem cell research for mass-production of meat should be given a serious thought” (p.2-18).

inVitroMeat foundation

Envision the availability and growing demand for in-vitro meat for the consumer market.

Using elements of tissue cell culture engineering

IN-VITROMEAT produce in vitro
(complete outside the body) on a large scale with full preservation of appearance, taste and character and with the potential of new taste combinations, at an affordable price. This new technology will render the present bio-industry superfluous and eliminate its negative effects on the environment.

Since vitro meat will not contain any potentially hazardous additives and have any harmful environmental impact, public health stands to greatly benefit from this new scientific breakthrough.

Vitro meat will end grave concerns over the ill effects of growth hormones, the improper use of antibiotics and the spread of diseases such as Creutzfeldt-Jacob, bacterial infections such as salmonella, and viruses causing bird flu, etc.

It will also bring an end to animal suffering and cruelty. Every year some 8 billion livestock are slaughtered in the US alone. Also in the US, due to poor butchering practices, thousands of broiler chickens arrive in the scald tank alive every day. 920 million animals die on US factory farms before reaching the slaughterhouse.

In vitro meat would not bring any of these problems
WITH IN-VITRO MEAT NO ANIMAL SUFFERING AND NO MORE BIO-INDUSTRY LIKE THE PRESENT. IT IS THE PRICIPAL CAUSE OF GLOBALWARMING BIO-LIVESTOCK PRESENT THE GREATEST THREAT TO THE PLANET
InVitroMeat Foundation

The inVitroMeat Foundation aims to make a structural contribution to the worldwide production of safe meat and thus help eliminate food shortages in the world. It will also make for a cleaner environment and eliminate much animal suffering.

The current bio-industry –the worldwide exploitation of farm animals for meat production– is held in large part responsible for environmental pollution and global warming as a result of the emission of carbon dioxide and methane. Furthermore, by the standards of the modern food industry it may be qualified as inefficient and totally outdated. This, and the brilliant invention in 1950 with Patent in 1997 of Willem van Eelen -- namely: (in vitro [completely outside the body] cultured meat) -- plus a strong ethical feeling, has impelled a number of legal experts to establish the “inVitroMeat” International Fundraising FOUNDATION.
